But it’s far too late, now
Suppose it was all for naught
I broke my hip pretty badly, so I’ll have to use a crutch
This situation sucks pretty bad, I guess I don’t think too much
I'm stuck in a hole
A shovel came down
Dig my way back up
I no longer frown
I'm stuck in a hole
I fell down some stairs
Not sure of my goal
Got caught unawares

I would like to tell a story of my least favorite word
Its prefix an enigma, its meaning twice as absurd
So ambiguous and conflicting and as vague as it could be
The word I talk about is "biweekly"
Why on earth would one word have two different meanings?
I can't get my head around it, it feels like I'm dreaming
I guess I could say "twice weekly" so biweekly will mean two weeks
But this workaround is janky, this ain't an issue I want to seek
Whoever came up with it should be punched in the face
Get strapped onto a rocket and get launched into outer space
You might say I'm overreacting, but I'm not keen to agree
You don't know how much clarity means to me
